Story
Nearly 130 years after his death, thousands of people are drawing inspiration from the incredible life of Venerable Fr. Augustus Tolton. Born into slavery and disallowed from entering any seminary in the United States, Tolton defied social expectations and became America's first openly black African-American priest. Through expert interviews, historical documents, and dramatic readings of Tolton's own never-before-seen letters, audiences will hear the inspirational story of Fr. Tolton's life in his own words.
